Marie Martin presented this key note address to the Educational Computing Association of WA on 17 July 2009. Using information from a variety of sources, Marie spoke about generational attitudes and the challenges of working with colleagues from the Silent Generation, the Baby Boomers, Generation X and Generation Y.

Remembering that all teachers endeavour to do the best they can, for the best reasons, to achieve the best purposes and to make a difference, Marie talked about ways in which staff meetings, planning groups and professional learning can meet the needs of all staff.
