Learning Conversations
Workshops for Teachers, Assistants, Carers and other Professionals
Professional Learning Opportunities
Teachers and administrators have asked for workshops that support teachers in their thinking about teaching and learning. We have devised a series of workshops that enable people at whatever stage of engagement with theory and practice to reflect on their practice, deepen their thinking and see themselves as daily researchers of teaching and learning.
Each workshop is designed to engage individuals within a collaborative group to develop a social constructivist way of thinking, being and working and to link theory and practice.
Workshops can be negotiated to be anywhere from a two hour after school session to one and a half days in length. The longer the session the more deeply participants are able to grapple with ideas and issues, incubate questions and solutions explore ways of applying learning in the centre/school setting.
