Participants asked what NAPLAN might look like if teachers were driving it:

·       A transparent process.

·       Using valid, reliable tests.

·       Providing good information to teachers and schools.

·       Supported by an education process for principals, teachers and families to see it in a positive light.

·       And a professional development process for teachers conducted in suitable timeframes.

·       Where data is used to inform programs.

·       And schools were given additional resources to provide more support for students who need it.
